Welcome to SED260!!
Welcome to the SED260 blog! This is one of my favorite parts of the class each semester. Students' personalities typically come through in ways on the blog they may not always do in the classroom. It's exciting to see how students who may be more quiet and laid back in class are very willing to share, open up and help others here on the blog! In your first post please introduce yourself to the class and share something you would like for us to know about you that may help us get to know you better as we all learn together this semester. I'll start...
My name is Cathy White. This is my sixth semester teaching at EKU and my 25th year in education. I've taught deaf education and regular education. I've taught elementary school as well as middle school in addition to teaching at the college level.
I also work full time at the Kentucky Department of Education in the Office of Next Generation Learners and currently working in the area of Teacher & Leader Effectiveness.
My passion is God, my family and seeing students LEARN!!
Here's what I think a LANGUAGE RICH classroom would look like!!
