Reading Response
Has anyone started their Reading Response assignment that is due next week? Having any difficulty? Questions? Why not post thoughts, comments, questions here to work through those together. I'll also pop in and comment if there seem to be common questions not answered by each other.

I have not started yet, I for some reason am feeling a little intimidated by it.. I will begin soon though.. Am glad for this page so we can ask questions..
Finding the article that you most want to read will be a big help. :)
How was the format supposed to be for the reading response? First paragraph is summarizing, id the rest of it supposed to just be our thoughts about it?
Whitney- I think it depends on which format you choose. On Blackboard, under Assignments, there is a description of how she wants the reading response written. If you do the narrative, you will not only be summarizing it in 1-3 paragraphs, but you will also be writing 3-5 paragraphs making connections between the article, what we've discussed in class, and what you've learned. She also included some things to look for when you are writing your Response to help steer you in the right direction when you're writing it. There is another format you can choose from as well. I didn't do that one, so I don't know enough about it to explain it on here...but check under blackboard and you can pick one of the two! :0)
