Language Sampling

This sampling project is scarey.. I have my sampling recorded. I know to type it labeled by who said what.. I am just not sure how  to completely label it by the pragmatics can anyone help??

The first thing you will have to do is type the complete transcription with everything that was said by all conversation partners. It will look like the transcriptions we have worked with in class. You will have numbered the utterances showing that you have 100.

How you will "label it" will be to use the pragmatics chart in the project. Choose one of the skills such as Requesting an object. Go through the transcript. In each utterance where there is an example of the child requesting an object you will note that utterance number in the chart. By the time you complete the whole chart you will have it filled with utterance numbers showing where each of those skills occurred within the conversation.
