Hey everyone, My name is Heather!
I am a special needs LBD major. My love for this field began when my cousin was born with cerebral palsy. I want to learn all I can about special needs individuals and hopefully make a good teacher someday!
I currently work with special needs adults for a non profit organization called Lords Legacy.
I'm a commuter all the way from Nicholasville just so I can be close with my clients.
I plan on teaching the high school level and getting a bunch of peer tutors of my own!

I know a lot of individual and staff that work there.. Pretty cool! Keep up the good work!
With your love for your cousin I am sure you will be a fine teacher.
